Welcoming Statement
St. Andrew United Methodist Church has a place for you. We embrace Jesus’ message that God loves everyone and affirm that all persons are of sacred worth. We are proud to celebrate diversity as we work to live our vision of radical hospitality.
We welcome people of every age, race and gender identity; diverse nationalities, ethnicities, and sexual orientations; any family structure, economic reality, physical and mental ability, education and faith history. While there are differences among us, we can love alike though we may not think alike. You are invited to join this nurturing community on a faith journey toward greater love, understanding and mutual respect.
If this is your first visit, welcome. If you are returning, welcome home.
Our Mission: To invite, receive, nurture, challenge, and send forth committed Christian disciples

This service is a “come as you are” approach to worship. Church at tables, songs from popular music not a hymn book, discussion rather than a sermon. It’s church for people that don't normally do church!
Childcare is available for children age 4 years and younger, or bring the entire family!
Communion at St. Andrew is open to all who are, or would like to be, followers of Jesus Christ. The invitation comes from Jesus Christ, not from this church. Communion is offered each Sunday during the 7:45 Chapel service, and on the first Sunday of each month in the Sanctuary services. Gluten-free bread is available, and grape juice is served in the cup, not wine.
Baptism is the sacrament of initiation that joins us with the church and with Christians everywhere. It’s a symbol of new life and a promise of God’s saving love – and a sign of God’s forgiveness of our sins. Both infants and adults can be baptized. The United Methodist church recognizes all baptisms, therefore we do not “re-baptize” persons.
Prior to scheduling a baptism, parents are expected to attend an information session to learn more about this very sacred event and its meaning. Parents do not need to be members of St. Andrew, but must be attending worship regularly and active at St. Andrew. For more information and to register for an Information Session, contact Melanie Rowlison – 303-794-2683 or email Melanie. Childcare is available with your call to Kirsten Parus, Childcare Coordinator, at 303-794-2683 x151, a week prior to the class. All classes run from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
