Harvey Martz, Senior PastorDr. Harvey Martz has been Senior Minister of St. Andrew since 1994. Before coming to Littleton he was Senior Minister at Calvary United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs for 22 years, a congregation that relocated and went through three building programs. Harvey has a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Methodist University's Perkins School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Iliff School of Theology. He has also served as Campus Minister at Montana State University.
Harvey has been the chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry of our conference, the credential granting group for United Methodist pastors and has served as chair of our conference New Church Development Committee. He has had articles published in several national church publications and he and his wife Judy have authored a chapter in the book "The Befuddled Stork". Harvey and Judy are the parents of Todd who lives in Colorado Springs and of Meredith who recently graduated from the University of Denver. Harvey enjoys reading, bicycling and movies. He wants our church to be a beacon for a balanced United Methodist perspective of mind and heart, spirituality and justice.
