  1. What was Moses’ initial response when God called Moses to go to the pharaoh and tell the pharaoh “Let my people go”?

  2. What was the Moses level of self-esteem when God approached him at first?  What assurance does God give Moses?

  3. What evidence do you see in the early story of Moses that he had a strong sense or a weak sense of right and wrong?

  4. How much courage do you think it took for Moses to confront Pharaoh?

  5. What is the origin in this story of the Passover celebration that is observed in Judaism today?

  6. What was Moses’ reaction when his people began to murmur and complain and gripe to him?

  7. How does this story of Moses show us that Moses was wiling to follow other people’s advice?
