Audio Visual Coordinator
To supervise and coordinate all aspects of
Audio and Visual needs for St. Andrew Church. Most emphasis in
worship on Sunday mornings but not limited to that venue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include but are not
limited to:
1.
Attends all services on Sunday morning in the
Sanctuary. Meeting at 7am and finishing about 12:15. Sound
checks are at 7:30am.
2.
Serves as a contact person for all St. Andrew staff
and congregation about audio and visual needs.
3.
Interviews, screens, and trains all teams of audio
visual people.
4.
Makes sure that all AV equipment is stored properly
and put away after use.
5.
Meets on a regular basis with the Director Of Music
and Fine Arts to coordinate upcoming worship and other events.
6.
Supplies and implements power point presentations
every week for the worship services.
7.
Purchases supplies with approval from Business
Manager and Director Of Music and Fine Arts as needs arise.
8.
Advertises and encourages new people to assist with
AV needs on a volunteer basis.
9.
Attend any and all meetings with the new building
representatives as it pertains to the new building and AV
plans.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong experience in Audio Visual
applications. Educational background with an emphasis on
Audio Visual. Ability to supervise and mentor volunteers
that have an interest in AV applications. This is not limited
to or excluding youth. Ability to communicate with
children and adults. Flexibility to work at home or
church, on weekends and evenings if necessary.
Presence at St. Andrew UMC during Sunday
morning worship services. Understanding that a team of people
could be there without your presence as long as properly
trained. This must be cleared in advance with the supervisor. |
